The Department of Shalya Tantra is dealing with surgical aspects of the system through imparting quality patient care and various research activities concerning surgery. The department has its own OPD (General Shalya, Anorectal & Orthopedic), IPD, Minor Operation theatre (Sastra Karma, Kshara Karma, Kshara Sutra, Agnikarma & Raktamokshana Units) and Major Operation theatre. The department has its own well equipped operation theatre with C-arm facility, Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy facilities, where all the surgical procedures like Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernial repairs, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy etc. are done under sterile environment under proper Anesthesia.
