Department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana

Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana is a specialized branch of Ayurveda which deals with the Mercurial processing as well as preparation of medicines from various natural sources. Department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana in IIMT Ayurveda Medical College is equipped with spacious Rasashala, labs (Teaching Pharmacy), Quality Control laboratory, Machineries and Museum and the department is consistently getting upgraded with newest infrastructure. The department aims to enable the students to prepare formulations for medical practice and to develop skills for the establishment of Ayurveda pharma industry. Vision of the Department is to conduct research on unexplored formulations catering the present health needs and also to produce experts in the field of Rasashastra & Bhaishjaya Kalpana to teach, train and research.
