The Rachana Sharir literally means the structural components of the human body. This department is analogous to that of anatomy of contemporary medical science and deals with anatomical aspects of the human body including histology, osteology, organology etc. The department of Rachana Sharir in IIMT Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital has a full-fledged dissection hall with facilities for cadaver preservation. An excellent and well preserved museum with fine exhibits ensures the standard of scientific teaching and training. The department provides hands on training to students in Cadaver dissection, histological study, Marma vijnan etc. The vision of department is to deliver the best in teaching and thus paving the way for students to become excellent surgeons and physicians.
